Water Crisis, a solo exhibition by Refilwe Vincent Mpobole

The water crisis is an increasingly prominent yet continuously overlooked eventuality facing all South Africans.Mpobole was largely influenced by the effect this situation and engages actively both in his subject matter and vivid palette to convey a very present reality facing many people today.

Wayfinding, a solo exhibition by Portia Zvavahera

This is the artist’s first solo exhibition in Johannesburg and will include ink paintings on paper and canvas.The relationship between materiality and mark-making is playfully explored in instances where gestural marks begin to mimic the printed textile patterns which appear in several of the new works.
