Common Methods presents The First Edition, an open exhibition of international design collaboration between South Africa and The Netherlands. Common Methods is launching on the African continent for the first time. A combination of South African and Dutch designers and local manufacturers along with international designers presents a dynamic and innovative collaborative collection of bronze and leather products. Each designer’s sketch book, tests and prototypes will be displayed among the final pieces, documenting their journey as a collaborative team. Common Methods makes a point to celebrate the failures of design as much as the success.
Exhibition runs until 24 August at 75 on Harrington in the East City, Cape Town.
