Show & Tell: Urban Edition

Show & Tell: Urban Edition | A Day of Talks Hosted by 10and5 in Cape Town

Show & Tell: Urban Edition

This Friday we’re hosting an urban edition of Show & Tell in the Mother City. Running alongside the WDC2014 Design Policy Conference, we’ve curated a fringe event with creative talks by public art enthusiasts, urban activists and city planners. Focussing on urban environments, the line-up of local and international speakers will showcase the work they do to highlight how cities are (and should be) designed and used to facilitate creativity.

The speaker line-up includes:

10:30 | Gareth Pearson, co-founder of First Thursdays Cape Town and Twenty Fifty

11:00 | Yo Kaminagai (France), RATP

11:45 | Omar-Pierre Soubra (USA), maker/designer/innovator, director of Collaboration Community for Trimble, founder of Sketchup

12:30 | Hester du Plessis who lectures at Mapungubwe Institute for Strategic Reflection and Gisele Raulik-Murphy (Brazil), partner at DUCO
