U2’s “This Is Where You Can Reach Me Now” by Fly On The Wall Featuring DALeast

Wow-wow-wow! This just out: Chinese-born, Cape Town-based street artist DALeast and his incredible creatures feature in a new music video for U2’s “This Is Where You Can Reach Me Now” made by Fly on the Wall. The short film is one of 11 music videos for the track, all released today and all featuring a prominent street artist who created a mural or multiple artworks on camera. The video, directed by Bryan Little and produced by Filipa Domingues, begins in Cape Town where a vagabond version of DALeast digs his way through the ground to land up on the other side of the world, in New York City. Here he finds and follows the actual DALeast who spray paints majestic birds and wiry wolves in his signature style around the city. As the video comes to an end, the animals come to life making DALeast’s artwork even more mesmerizing, if that’s even possible.

The track is off U2’s new album Songs of Innocence, which you might already have on your iPhone. The 11 music video project is called “Films of Innocence”. This video in particular premiered on Paper Mag.
