Delicate beaded details drop from pockets and printed fabric patches add charm in MESO’s new collection of reworked vintage jeans by Nabeeha Mohamed. Hanging side by side with her one-of-a-kind kimonos made lovingly from vintage Indian sari fabric, these new pieces are a natural extension of the MESO brand inspired by a space where opulence meets ease.
To introduce Nabeeha’s new offering, photographer Ane Strydom and florist Storm Ross of The Holloway Shop imagined a land of winter sun and veld flowers peeping from pockets, gathered into a loose bouquet or gently adorning Ugandan model Tricia Akello who easily wears the bohemian denims on her endless legs. The collaborative imagery, which could almost be described as fragrant, was captured at Rondevlei Nature Reserve and is titled ‘Limb’.
The new collection can be found along with an array of other MESO pieces at MASH Boutique at 77 Kloof Street. Alternatively, enquiries can be made to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
