A Picture of Young South Africa Today

Young South Africa: Sipho Mpongo

Sipho Mpongo

Through written interviews and a short film we’ve heard what young, creative South African thought leaders have to say about the position of the youth in our country. But what does Young South Africa look like? We know that any attempt to encapsulate this in its totality would prove wildly unsuccessful, there’s no way to reduce what it means to be young in South Africa into a singular experience or expression – and that’s a fantastic thing. So instead, we’re going for a celebratory approach with a colourfully curated selection of photographs that take us on a trip around the country through the bright eyes of young SA.
