23 Feb The Tazers release their 70s psychedelic rock style EP, ‘Time Machine’
We first came across the The Tazers last year when they brought out their Dream Machine EP, and subsequently featured them in a list of our favourite musical acts of 2015. Now they’ve caught our attention again with their latest EP Time Machine.
If you don’t know them, The Tazers are a three piece psychedelic rock ‘n roll band from Johannesburg, with Jethro Lock on lead vocals and guitar, Tim Edwards on drums and backup vocals and Guido Assmann on bass.
Their latest EP sees six tracks come together in a heady mix of psychedelic rock, blues, and good old fashioned rock ‘n roll to create a resoundingly gritty sound, stitched together through blazing guitar solos, low, crooning vocals and smooth, rolling drumbeats.
Fast becoming one of the busiest bands in SA, The Tazers will be embarking on their 2nd national EP launch tour from 25 February for which they’ll take to stages from Port Elizabeth and Stellenbosch to Durban and Bloemfontein with a quick stop off at Miliepop Festival too.
