Cointreau’s #DreamDareCreate campaign has traveled from foreign shores, landed in South Africa and chosen an influential Cointreau Creative Crew (CCC) who will award one lucky creative the stepping-stone to pursue their dream career. The CCC is an exclusive communication platform aimed at empowering women to reveal and boost their creativity by daring them to achieve their dreams. The grant scheme will award one entrepreneur a R100 000 bursary to initiate their project either in art, music, design, film, food or even the cocktails industry, and is open to all creatives who want to make their dreams a reality.
The South African crew consists of women who inspire creativity within their chosen fields, namely; singer and performer Manthe Ribane, illustrator Karabo Moletsane, singer and songwriter Nonku Phiri, photographer Lisa Ting Chong, social media strategist Nosipho Tisani, fashion designer Nadia Turton, foodie personality and private chef Sue-Ann Allen, and Cointreau brand manager and fashionista Tamika Sewnarain. “We are very excited to give these incredible women a unique platform to express their creativity and showcase their work. It is also exciting and inspiring that South Africa has been chosen to pioneer this movement outside of the UK and Europe, to recognise the extraordinary talent our country holds,” says Tamika.
The grant scheme grand finale is taking place early next year, where the South African jury will meet with the ten finalists in person before crowning the winner. In the meantime, the official launch happens tomorrow in Cape Town and is set to inspire us to #DreamDareCreate.
