CCA Creative Sessions: Providing inspiration for emerging photographers

June 2016 sees the launch of a series of talks designed to spark inspiration amongst the next generation of South African photographers. Cape Collective Assist will be bringing inspiring stories of well known photographers to those who will follow in their footsteps.
Creative Sessions are a platform for young minds to draw inspiration from the experiences of emerging and established photographers. Each session will have two photographers, each presenting a 20min Q&A on how their careers have developed, what they’ve learnt along the way, and their mission for the future.
The first instalment of Creative Sessions is free and will take place on Monday 13 June at Roodebloem Studios in Woodstock, Cape Town. With seating limited to 60 people, it is essential to apply for a ticket if you want to attend the talks. The session starts at 18:30, with the first speaker taking the stage at 19:00
Guests for the talk:

Kope | Figgins

Fashion photography duo Jonathan Kope and Jarryd Figgins, two photographers who came together to create a dynamic and interesting brand of fashion photography under the name Kope | Figgins.

Kyle Weeks

New photographic artist from Namibia, Kyle Weeks, whose work is mainly project based and who will take audiences through his story as an emerging photographer.
