We’ve got retro feels for W35T’s quirky A/W16 fashion film

Carnivalesque music, rainbow filters and 70s inspired charm fill the screen for W35T’s A/W16 fashion film. Join two sisters, who invite us into their quaint house, and share their strange experiences with an uninvited ghost. Shot by Anton du Preez, the film has a whimsical atmosphere and embraces the fun side of fashion with light-hearted comedic moments and humourous subtitles expressing the character’s thoughts.

This season, W35T embraces strong metallics juxtaposed against softer, gossamer fabric. Chunky jewellery, pastel shades, textured hair and athletic cuts mix masculine and feminine elements with simple lines and bias cuts. As an emerging South African fashion brand, the label focuses on creating ethically, handmade fashion using predominantly natural fabrics for comfortable garments with a timeless feel.
