South African Menswear Week is regarded as one of the only fashion weeks on the continent dedicated to menswear. This year’s event, which started last Thursday through the weekend, once again celebrated androgynous fashion, tailored garments, streetwear, and so much more. Taking place at the The Palms in Woodstock, Cape Town, SAMW saw runway looks by Nao Serati, Sol Sol, 2Bop, Augustine, Tsepo Tsotetsi, to name a few of the South African designers, while the venue was streaming with bloggers, fashion buyers and models. With a play on colours and a clash of prints, photographer Alena Galen snapped some of the best moments at SAMW.
