08 Jan Gallery – The first Afropunk Joburg in photos
The lead up to 2018 was epic. And saw Afropunk host its first festival on the continent, right here in Joburg city. The two-day experience, which took place at Constitution Hill, featured market stalls by mainly black businesses and musical performances by artists such as Okzharp & Manthe Ribane, and culminated with King Tha vs Blk Jks and Anderson .Paak ushering in the New Year.
Here’s a recap of festivities in photographs by I See a Different You, Lee-Roy Jason, Ryan Purcell, Jeff Rikhotso, Edna Holifield and Kgomotso Neto.
