South African Menswear week is fast becoming one of the most anticipated fashion events of the year. Menswear is evolving, blurring the traditional binary restrictions of male and female, and with it comes a new era of fashion. With more creativity and less of the restrictive normative gender roles, everyone’s creativity flourishes, with new and exciting stuff coming from all of the designers.
Streetwear brand Good Good Good is no exception. The SS19 collection features a beautiful palette brought to life by the brand itself, and some exciting collaborators. The BTS images were shot by prolific South African photographer Bert Pauw, and give us some insight into the backstage chaos of a fashion week show. The collection features both bright and muted hues, crafted by the brand’s ongoing relationship with South African textile mill, Mungo. As well as gorgeous, high-quality textiles, the collection features an extension of the brand’s 420 inspired collaboration with South African illustrator, Shaun Hill.
