Parsons Branding, a South African firm that is passionate about radical differentiation

Parsons Branding has a deep-rooted understanding of a brand’s DNA. They use this knowledge to help form strong, cohesive branding strategies for small and large brands alike – the process is the same regardless of whether they’re working with a small start-up, or a fully realised company. The firm originated in Durban in 2009, but recently relocated to Cape Town. Winner of a 2016 Loerie award for their campaign with Topline paint, Parsons has a wide reach both in South Africa and internationally, serving clients in Europe and Swaziland.

Parsons focuses on finding out what defines the brand – what they are, what they’re not, and what makes them different from their competitors – and utilizes this information in exciting, concise, effective brand roll-outs. Parson’s focus is on creating passionate, relevant design, born from strategy and executed to engage the right audiences.

Chief Creative Officer Craig’s passion is evident when speaking about the firm, “Our work is bold and simple. We really enjoy the process of crafting our creative, no detail is too small in our studio. Our main goal is to solve the challenges our clients might be facing, so a lot of the time our work is a response to those challenges. The creative path we embark on is one of radical differentiation, while still producing highly functional design intended to emotionally engage a brands’ audience. We want to start new conversations with the work we do – that’s our ultimate goal.”
