Applications for the 2019 PPC Imaginarium Awards are open

The PPC Imaginarium Awards are back for the 5th year in a row. Not only will the Imaginarium finalists be mentored towards creating their best entries possible and receive extensive media exposure, the Overall PPC Imaginarium Awards Champion will win a cash prize of R100 000! The category winners and runners-up will be rewarded too, receiving R50 000 and R15 000 respectively.
The awards are open to South African and Zimbabwean artists and designers over the age of 18. Applications close on 30 November.

Established in 1892, PPC has produced the cement used to build many of the country’s iconic landmarks and construction. PPC is proud to be a notable part of the South African story, and remains committed to the future of the country and its economic potential.

Armed with the philosophy and vision of contributing to the South African economy and supporting the creative industry, PPC has once again opened its doors to young emerging artists and designers, who are given the opportunity to lead their respective industries through the PPC Imaginarium Awards.

The PPC Imaginarium Awards is a competition for concepts and prototypes that use PPC cement in the creative disciplines of architectural design, fashion design, short film, industrial design, jewellery design and sculpture.
