The story of ADAM

To be fully invited and immersed into a part of someone’s life through any medium requires good storytelling. What  we see in Adam is indicative of that. Adam is a short film about cancer survivor Adam Voigt’s personal battle with the illness, while exploring his passion for surfing and his connection with the ocean.

Filmed over two years around Cape Town, South Africa, the film documents Adam’s highs, lows and ultimately the incredible attitude he has approaching life with the heavy weight of leukemia.

The 5-minute short film has earned a Ciclope Africa Craft Award and a Vimeo Staff Picks. Captured by his friend and filmmaker William Armstrong, the film was created as a passion project to mark the inspirational story that has defined Adam’s life.
