We’ve come across brands that create fashion collections that are inspired by a number of things, but how often have you heard of an entire collection inspired and based on cannabis culture? Well, Cape Town based fashion brand, Good Good Good recently collaborated with illustrator Shaun Hill to create their AW19 collection- a collection that celebrates the highs and highs of cannabis culture.
Good Good Good, is a trendy, vibrant brand that focuses on contemporary road wear, high-quality textiles and traditional customization methods. Established in 2016, the brand strives to bridge the gap between functional clothing and fashion in order to create equally flexible garments. Majority of the brand’s core range is manufactured from luxury woven textiles milled by world-renowned South African heirloom textile mill, Mungo.
This 420-inspired capsule sees further experimentation with the luxury woven fabrics of Mungo. Elements of the collection were inspired by the Max Romeo reggae tune’ One Step Forward’, with select pieces from the collection featuring quotes pulled from the song’s lyrics.
The collection features Polo Rugby Shirts, Resort Shirts, Classic Work Wear Jackets, Noragi Work Wear Jackets and Coats, Dinner Shorts, Wide-Leg Work Wear Trousers, and a selection of graphic T-Shirts.
The collection is currently available on Good Good Good’s online store and can be purchased at Cape Town’s premier boutique fashion destination, AKJP , Orphan Street Clothing Shop (Cape Town), A Store (Cape Town) as well as Baseline Skate Shop in Cape Town. Internationally, the collection can be purchased from Harvey Nichols (Hong Kong), Peggs & Son (Brighton UK), Assembly New York, Assembly Los Angeles and Edifice (Tokyo, Japan).
