Nike By You Collaborates with Karabo Poppy for the Latest Collection of Air Force 1 Low

Nike By You has joined forces with award-winning illustrator and street artist Karabo Poppy to design the latest collection of Air Force 1 Low.

The illustrator added her touch to the famous sneakers, inspired by her roots and the diverse culture in the country. This is evident in the detail present on each of the shoes – from the symbols, the vivid palettes, and the patterns. Modern African beaded bracelets with vibrant palettes of black, yellow, green and purple motivate the various colorways the designer used. She also drew some design inspiration from South Africa’s barber and beauty salon signs that line the streets.

Customers will be able to choose between three colors for their silhouette, including a bronze, maize yellow and natural white, as well as allow their playful freedom to take over by adding a plethora of heritage accents from comb dubraes to all-over embroidery patches covering the Swoosh logos.

The collection will be available from 7 November at Nike.com.
