04 Dec Wine Meets Art | Steenberg Partners with the Norval Foundation
Discover the ultimate wine and art pairing in the Constantia Valley, forged by a unique partnership between Steenberg Vineyards and the Norval Foundation art museum and sculpture garden.
The next-door neighbours on Steenberg Road in Tokai have teamed up to offer exclusive benefits to new members of both the Steenberg Wine Club and Norval Foundation. Until April 2020 all new members of the Wine Club will automatically become general members of Norval Foundation with free access for a year to this magnificent museum of contemporary art right on the doorstep of the winery. In addition to getting a year’s free admission to the museum, art enthusiasts who sign up to become members of the Norval Foundation will receive a complimentary classic wine tasting for two people at Steenberg Vineyards.
As a centre for art and cultural expression, Norval Foundation combines the experience of art with an appreciation for nature. The Sculpture Garden, on-site restaurant, kids play area, and purpose-built exhibition spaces offer visitors a multisensory experience that is tailormade for a day out with the whole family.
Over and above this singular opportunity, members of the Steenberg Wine Club enjoy exclusive benefits from new vintage tastings to a host of special offers, exclusive events and personal interactions with the cellar master. With a 15% discount on all wine purchases, Wine Club members can enjoy the full Steenberg experience at preferential rates at the two popular restaurants, Bistro Sixteen82 and Tryn, Steenberg’s new signature restaurant, spa treatments, and accommodation at the luxury boutique hotel.
Steenberg Vineyards produces a range of exceptional wines including elegant Méthode Cap Classique and cool climate Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and the Magna Carta icon blend.
The Steenberg Wine Club has been on-going since 2011. No fees apply when your membership is activated with the purchase of 24 bottles of Steenberg wines, either at the cellar door or from the online wine shop. Delivery is free to main centres in South Africa for orders of 12 bottles or more. For more details visit click here.
