The third week of the year ushered in the highly anticipated Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Designers and fashion enthusiasts gathered at Kraftwerk in Berlin, Germany to experience a night of exquisite, well-crafted designs from fashion designers around the world.
The opening night of the week-long fashion-focused event saw South African designers Clive Rundle, Floyd Manotana of Floyd Avenue Clothing, Lezanne Viviers of VIVIERS STUDIO, and Rich Mnisi showcase their designs on the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week runway.
In a fascinating group presentation, the four designers presented a modern interpretation of African culture, traditions, and craftsmanship for the international show titled ‘Fashion Talents’. Mercedes-Benz Fashion has been a unique global platform that supports young designer talents and this international programme is one of the ways Mercedes-Benz achieves this.
Over the past years, the internationally recognised automobile brand has established itself globally as a partner of select fashion events, it is currently involved in more than sixty fashion platforms all over the world.
