Devising a space for art minds, NGO Baz-Art held the fourth International Public Art Festival (IPAF) festival that took place from February 14 – 16 in Salt River, Cape Town. Streets were transformed with luminous designs of both local and internationally acclaimed mural artists.
Each day called for guided tours where surrounding community members were invited to experience giant artworks on the walls of Salt River – while artists gave the public insight on how they create murals. The festival offered the public the opportunity to mingle and connect with over 80 artists from all over the world.
The 2020 theme represented a focus on an age where new technology and the advent of digitalisation have completely transformed life as we know it.
See how each artist incorporated their own fusion and flair of this year’s theme.
