A unique oasis that exists especially for the dedicated, discerning and curious adventurers, who have an eye for the finer things in life, who look for hidden gem; the Undiscovered Canvas Concept Store is exactly that.
Undiscovered Canvas, in partnership with the City of Antibes, is proud to announce the opening of it’s boutique in the heart of the old City of Antibes, France.
A carefully curated space showcasing the best creative talents from the African continent, with a variety of rare objects that are ethically sourced, chic and inspired by the richly diverse cultural heritage of the motherland, consisting of Art, Fashion, Jewellery, and Design Furniture.
More than fifteen creatives will be showcased in the Concept Store: Lulama Wolf, Mathias Chirombo, Phila Hillie, Mookho Otho, Giggs Kgole, Phumzile Buthelezi, Africa Your Time is Now, Chantal Mayer, Galago Online, Ditsala Designs, Rich Factory, John Baloyi and more. In a city that is perfectly situated on the Côte d’Azur as it is between Monaco and Cannes.
Antibes is a city of many facets, with the biggest marina on the Riviera, the Billionaires Quay one of the rare quays where yachts larger than 100 metres can moor, the old fortified town and the famous Picasso museum, beaches, the enchanting setting of the Cap d’Antibes, shopping and a lively nightlife.
Undiscovered Canvas head hunts the best talents from Africa, looking for individuals with determination, ambitions, who use technology in innovative ways and who create narratives that are inspiring, educative and are cross-cultural and cross borders.
Founded in 2015 by Nomaza Nongqunga Coupez, a South Africa now residing in France for the past 10 years. Undiscovered Canvas promotes African Creative Industries in Europe and Africa, through identifying markets and building events that showcast the best of African creatives.
