“40 For Her”, Jockey’s celebration of South African women

Over the past four decades, Jockey has solidified itself as South African’s most-loved and supported underwear brand. This year, the company celebrates 40 years of the ‘For Her’ brand, with underwear garments that still remain a staple in wardrobes across the country.

During South Africa’s Women’s Month, a festive season that sweeps throughout the country, the company celebrated 40 years of the ‘For Her’ brand, with a significant “40 For Her” Jockey competition on Instagram. To enter, consumers nominated a special woman in their life to win a prize valued at R40 000. In return, the nominator also stood a chance of winning R4000 worth of Jockey garments. The prize also included substantial discounts on select female garments at Jockey stores and online from the start of August.

Moving the campaign forward with their powerful voices were South African based influencers and female powerhouses including Amanda Du-Pont, Khanya Mkangisa, Nadia Jaftha, and Carol Mkhize.
