Last night we attended the opening of 'The Cute Show' at Salon 91. The Cute Show is a group exhibition of painting, print, sculpture and jeweller. The exhibition features a host of multi-disciplinary artists including Artist/ Jewellery Designer Geraldine Fenn, Illustrator/ Artist Jaco Haasbroek, Sculptor/ Painter/ Animator Francois van Reenen aka Frank, Deco Stylist/ Artist Tracy Lee Lynch, and Artist/ Jewellery Designer Eric Loubser. If you have some time, I highly recommend dropping in at Salon 91 and checking out the work. Specifically have a look at the Z - A series by Jaco Haasbroek. The exhibit ends on the 25 March 2010. The Michaelis School of Fine Art presents the 2009 Graduate Exhibition. Featuring final year work by the Honors and finishing Masters students, the annual exhibition has become a highly anticipated event in the Cape Town arts calendar.
