On the 8th of August Shelflife store launched it’s first worldwide release sneaker collaboration project with Puma.
Frank van der Elst who photographs under the name SoftBlur Photography was asked by the Cape Town Fashion Council to shoot some of the clothes by graduate fashion designers who were part of Cape Town Fashion Week’s Fast Track.
At the beginning of the year Lari Meyer photographed the summer range for Afraid of Mice (imported vintage clothing). She created an interesting effect by using snap shots from inside the Iziko SA National Museum projected in studio. The birds & the bees is the result.
The Design Academy of Fashion is having an open day tomorrow to give potential fashion students the chance to meet staff, browse current student work and gain a better understanding of the courses available at DAF.
