Michelle Viljoen - Papercity Michelle Viljoen graduated with honours from AAA Cape Town last year. This is a collection of the best work she produced while studying Graphic Design. A major hobby of Michelle's is photography which is why she started her blog - papercitylife and her tumblr blog. Papercitylife was also her inspiration for the magazine PAPERCITY (above), which she put together as part of a AAA project but would one day love to turn into an actual publication. PAPERCITY is a culture magazine that features blogs, fashion, up and coming designers, fashion designers, photographers and writers.

Toast specialises in event styling, branding, stationery and packaging. Marcelle's ideal is to re-invent boring eating spaces and in the future wants Toast set trends in the food industry. The exhibition is a student-led initiative, featuring a selection of works by Jewellery Design, Fine Arts and Visual Communication Design graduates. With the support of teaching staff, final year students take full responsibility for fundraising, event planning, exhibition design and catalogue production. A must-attend event on the Western Cape arts calendar, the 2010 Gradex exhibition will open at 19h00 on 30 November 2010, at the Visual Arts building, Victoria Street, Stellenbosch. The exhibition will be open to the public until 12 December, 2010. This is some of the work that will be on display.

The packaging is made from 100% recycled paper with a built in grease-proof lining ensuring it maintains its shape when you do this - Primi Piatti packaging planters All the take-away packaging can be reused as potting trays. Blacksheep says, "We decided to illustrate this idea in the form of a step-by-step guide on the back of each box."
