Exciting news from Toffie: South African foodies are in for a weekend packed with surprises at the first Toffie Food Festival and Conference, which takes place at the Cape Town City Hall from Saturday 3 until Sunday 4 September....
All you could possibly want to know about the TOFFIE popular culture festival happening in March this year, straight from The President's mouth:
From 24 to 26 March 2011, Cape Town will see the latest and greatest of South African and international pop culture packed into presentations, exhibitions, workshops and social events. The fabulous Cape Town City Hall will be the playground of those in the know.
The President’s award-winning Creative Director, Peet Pienaar, says the Toffie Festival’s interactive platform sets it apart from other pop culture and design festivals. “Participants are given the unique opportunity to forge real connections with top creatives in their fields, and all workshops and presentations are designed around this principle. We aim to create a festival that is not intimidating – and all this at an affordable cost.”
