This week Johannesburg becomes the centre of the African contemporary art world. The annual FNB Joburg Art Fair takes place from 7 – 9 September at the Sandton Convention Centre and this year’s promises to be the biggest so far.
FNB Joburg Art Fair 2011 kicks off
Next week sees the start of the FNB Joburg Art Fair to be hosted in Sandton City from 23 – 25 September. This year the Art Fair has moved from its original time in Easter to September, in a move that organiser Ross Douglas says will hopefully contribute to an “art season” in the city.
