Lische Joubert’s photography has taken a different direction this year so far. Moving away from featuring artists and musicians in her photos, her newer work captures moments between friends, sunny weekends and travels across South Africa from Kalk Bay to the Transkei.
Last night, at The Waiting Room, we finally got to showcase the results of The Fashion Movie Project, that has been months in the making.
The Fashion Movie Project is an experiment in fashion films. We invited 9 young Cape Town photographers or photography teams to pair up with a styling student from Elizabeth Galloway and a local fashion label.

Always looking for something interesting to shoot, Lische Joubert’s latest series is called ‘Levitation as a pastime activity.’
Lische Joubert is a young, local photographer currently assisting more established photographers in Cape Town and working on her own personal projects.
