LOVE AND HATE was very busy in Europe earlier this year with exhibitions in the Netherlands and Germany. The first was as part of the South African group show FOR THOSE WHO LIVE IN IT: popculture , politics and strong voices. For interviews with the artists involved see this previous post. In May 2010 LOVE AND HATE STUDIO artists 35ten73 and black koki were invited by Angelique Spaninks from the "MU" project space in Eindhoven in the Netherlands to create a black and white illustration on a huge 10m x 5m canvas. The drawing took place over the course of 9 days, outside the library and design school in the DE WITTE DAME building, where the gallery/projectspace is situated.
