layout04 The other day we met the charming South African photographer, Antonia Steyn. She has shot various campaigns for brands such as Adidas and Mooks. And has done editorial work for magazines like Elle, Glamour, Cosmo and the increasingly popular, MK Bruce Lee. The following photographs are from her latest shoot. The aim of the shoot was to portray "african beauty" while taking the notion of fashion photography and pulling it apart at the seams. It's about celebrating imperfections and reality, rather than creating a false facade of beauty. You can view her portfolio at www.oneleague.co.za.
