The TV category has always been highly debated on 10and5 and it’s not often that everyone agrees on a favourite, but, these are the ads that we think got it right.
Following the existing “How about a nice cup of chill?” TVC, is this new KFC Milkybar Krusher campaign from Ogilvy Joburg.
These extreme up close and graphic print ads were made by Ogilvy Joburg for Afrikaans TV channel KykNET.
This ad by Ogilvy Joburg and Egg Films first flighted in March this year but we saw it for the first time at the Loerie Awards last weekend where it won a craft certificate.
This is the first M-Net brand campaign to be made in over a decade. The ad, “My Life As A Movie”, stars Emmanuel Castis whose character’s life story is told through clips and narration as if it were a movie.
Kyknet’s Getroud Met Rugby can be described as the local, Afrikaans version of Footballer’s Wives. The scandalous series is now in it’s 4th season which was Ogilvy Joburg’s task to launch.
Hellocomputer brought the house down via 3D projection at the launch of Sensodyne Repair & Protect in Joburg recently.

Last Tuesday KFC unveiled a Wall of Hope in Joburg. The interactive art installation in the Melrose Arch Piazza was designed to represent the children that KFC helps through their Add Hope national feeding initiative.
