Towards the end of October, The Luxurious Marble Circus brought over 8,000 guests to Muldersdrift’s Ground The Venue for a festival like no other. With 75,000 square meters of immersive experiences, the event was designed to embody luxury, artistry, and high-end hospitality, creating a captivating blend of food, music, and visual splendor.
In partnership with Grid World Wide, G&G Productions and Investec, the festival reimagined each detail to create an elevated experience—from whimsical décor to theatrical food presentations.
Usually at a festival there is one standout thing, at this festival reimagined, every single detail was considered to ensure that the brand concept and experience was carried through at each touchpoint.”-said Greg Walsh, owner of G&G Productions.
The centerpiece of the festival, the three-story Luxurious Marble Circus stage, was a work of art that required 600 hours of design and seven days to construct. Hosting top acts like Ndlovu Youth Choir, Zakes Bantwini, and Major League DJz, the stage enthralled guests with vivid performances, enhanced by cutting-edge sound, lighting, and pyrotechnics.
Food was as much a spectacle as the performances, with David Higgs and the Marble Hospitality Group serving delicacies from pizzas and sushi to fine dining crafted by chef J’Something in the Royal Lounge. Guests in the Grand Dining Room savored a menu by Higgs and Reuben Riffel, curated for an indulgent festival atmosphere.
Collaborations played a significant role in creating unforgettable moments, with unique spaces, Grid World Wide and G&G Productions reimagined the spaces with Windhoek World of Wonder, Veuve Clicquot’s Vista Veranda, and Mercedes-Maybach’s sensory experience. The Uncaged Carousel by Schweppes, Johnny Walker Express, and Savanna SpeakEasy added further flair with interactive exhibits and live entertainment.
