The  New Levi’s x Jordan Drop, Shaped by the People Who Wear It

The new 9-piece collection celebrates how fashion is shaped and kept alive by real communities, from artists and athletes to skaters and musicians. Featuring Spike Lee, Skater Josh Velez, bucket drummer Jay Wright and artist Rio Amor.

Levi’s and Jordan Brand return with another crossover, this time centred on the Air Jordan 3. The two brands have worked together before, and this release stays close to that shared ground while shifting the focus slightly. Denim meets basketball again, yes but this time not as a statement piece but as a continuation of an ongoing conversation..

At the centre of the collection is a reworked Air Jordan 3, released in four colourways. Each pair references a place, a moment, or a community, without straying too far from the original silhouette.

The Rigid colourway leans into indigo denim with black elephant print detailing. It is clean and straightforward. The Black version mixes leather and denim, finished with a sail midsole and an embroidered Nike Air heel, a small construction detail that is new for this model.

There is also a Lunar New Year edition. The Year of the Horse colourway launches exclusively in Greater China, Japan, and Korea, using unbleached ecru denim, pony hair panels, and red chain stitching on the tongue. Another regional exclusive arrives during NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles, combining pebbled leather with blue denim accents and “City of Angels” stitched inside.

Across all four versions, the details remain consistent. Each pair features a Levi’s Red Tab on the right shoe, Jumpman branding, and red insoles stamped with Levi’s dollar bill graphic.

Beyond footwear, the collection extends into apparel. Nine pieces in total, covering jerseys, outerwear, denim, and accessories. The approach is measured, relying on familiar silhouettes and shared branding rather than heavy design statements.

The football jersey comes cropped and boxy, made from polyester with red panel detailing and a co-branded jock tag. The varsity jacket stands as the most substantial piece, with a wool body, leather sleeves, and archive-inspired patches drawn from both brands’ histories, including a reference to Michael Jordan’s Bulls era.

Denim staples round out the range. A black Type III Trucker, an overshirt in rinsed indigo, and baggy jeans based on Levi’s 578™ fit, cut longer to stack over the Air Jordan 3. There are also baggy shorts with a low, wide fit, and a denim cap that completes the set.

One graphic in particular stands out. The short-sleeve shirt brings back Levi’s ’90s “Button Your Fly” slogan, originally popularised through a Spike Lee–directed campaign. Its return here is understated, treated as part of the broader narrative rather than a headline moment.

That thinking carries into the campaign itself. Shot in a public park and styled by Cam Hicks, it places different communities in the same space, from bucket drummers and skaters to artists.

Spike Lee appears again, this time alongside Jay Wright, whose father featured in the original “Button Your Fly” campaign.

Levis x Air Jordan collab

The Levi’s x Jordan collection releases in phases. With a wider global release landing on February 20 via Levi’s channels and select stores.

The focus of the latest collab isn’t on reinvention, but on how the pieces are worn, interpreted, and carried forward by the people at the centre of the collection.
