H&M South Africa marked a big moment this week. On 10 September, the brand threw a party in Johannesburg to celebrate its 10-year anniversary and the launch of the second drop of the Spring/Summer 2025 collection.
The iconic 92 Rivonia building in Sandton was lit up in red, setting the scene for a night of music, fashion and energy.

The show opened with a dance performance by Intimitive Dance Company before the stage lit up with Kamo Mphela, Shekhinah and Internet Girl. DJs Lelowhatsgood, DJ Kent and Baby Whitz kept the crowd moving late into the night.
Familiar faces like Nomalanga Shozi, Elaine, lordkez, Nadia Jaftha and Prince Grootboom pulled through, joining fashion lovers and tastemakers for the celebration.

Kamo Mphela said, “I love how the event mixes fashion, music and good vibes. It’s all about expression and energy, which is exactly what I stand for. It feels really special to celebrate this milestone with H&M surrounded by style and sound that feels fresh and fun.”
“H&M is an iconic brand that is so loud about their love for music and fashion, which are my passions, and I am excited to share this stage with creatives and artists that are like minded,” – Shekhinah.

Guests could shop the collection early at a digital shopping pod powered by Superbalist. There were also photo installations, beauty stations and plenty of fashion moments in between.
H&M gave away tickets through signups and competitions, opening the celebration to their community of loyal shoppers.

Caroline Nelson, H&M South Africa’s Country Manager, said, “Celebrating 10 years of H&M in South Africa is an incredible milestone. The S/S25 Music Experience brought people together through local music and creativity while showcasing a collection inspired by freedom and self-expression.”
The second chapter of the Spring/Summer 2025 collection leans into music culture. Think sheer festival looks, eclectic rock and roll, a touch of glam rock and New Romantic style, all softened with clean lines and a sun-kissed palette.

Where can I get the look?
The collection dropped online at Superbalist on 11 September and lands in all H&M stores on 18 September.
