Johannesburg’s most anticipated creative festival, the Basha Uhuru Freedom Festival at Constitution Hill, will offer a jam-packed lineup for its 2024 edition from June 27th to 29th. This year’s festival includes the Sounds of Freedom Music Festival, creative immersions, and art-filled experiences, all to commemorate Youth Month in a safe and engaging environment.
The theme for the 2024 edition is “30 Years of Creative Freedom,” highlighting the role of young people in creative and social movements. This year iQHAWE Magazine will curate the Basha Uhuru Creative Conference, held on Day 2.
What to expect from the Creative Conference
On Friday, June 28, the conference will feature a jam-packed program with thought-provoking conversations and workshops.
iQHAWE’s curated program will aim to…
- Assist creative individuals who often struggle with financial management and entrepreneurship skills. This program will equip them with the necessary tools and resources to navigate the financial aspects of their careers effectively.
- Foster a financially empowered creative ecosystem. This program contributes to the economic development of South Africa by supporting creative entrepreneurs.
- Address the lack of financial and tangible skill transfer for creative individuals who lack formal education in business and finance. This program fills that gap by offering curated educational content specifically tailored to the needs of creative entrepreneurs, presented in an accessible and engaging zine format.
