Rihanna makes a grand announcement on Instagram wearing a knitted dress by South African fashion designer Thebe Magugu. The beauty mogul is tipping the global scale by launching her namesake beauty and skincare brands, Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin, in Africa.
Rihanna made the announcement via her Fenty Beauty social media accounts, posting: “I’ve been waiting for this moment!! @fentybeauty & @fentyskin are finally dropping in AFRICA!!! Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe… we comin at ya May 27th and that’s just the beginning!!! #FentyAfrica.”
We’ve all been waiting for this moment too, RiRi! And let’s applaud to the good timing as well. The aforementioned labels are expected to hit cosmetic shelves in South Africa basically around the corner from now.
This announcement follows Fenty revealing that Bling Empire star Kane Lim is the newest ambassador of both Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin, the release of Fenty Skin’s “Cookies N Clean” Detox Face Mask and the restock of Fenty Eau de Parfum from Fenty Beauty.
