TikTok rolled out the red carpet on February 9th to honour the region’s top content creators of 2023.
The star-studded event, held at Vodacom World in Johannesburg, shone a spotlight on exceptional talent and content that captured hearts and minds across the continent.
Bianca Sibiya, TikTok’s Head of Content Operations in Sub-Saharan Africa, expressed that the #TopCreator2023 awards aim to inspire and empower the next generation of creators. “These awards recognize the incredible impact our talented content creators have on their communities through innovative, engaging, and captivating content,” she remarked.
