Elmarie Lategan + Jeanne Hugo exhibition
You are cordially invited to attend the opening evening of the
following art exhibition:
‘Kortverhale’ is the first collaborative exhibition by Cape Town
painters Jeanne Hugo and Elmarie Lategan. Lategan has had great
success with previous exhibitions at the AVA, Winchester mansions,
Art.B and Gerhard Cloete galleries. Hugo has worked with performance,
photographic and illustrative art but recently chose oil paint as her drug of
choice.
Both Lategan and Hugo are Stellenbosch Fine Art graduates.

No Strange Land – behind the scenes

A bit more about the expo:
‘No Strange Land’ is a group show featuring five emerging creatives working within the fields of music, fine arts, illustration and fashion.
Combining their strengths and efforts they have conceptualised an intimate group show under the banner ‘No Strange Land’.
The emphasis is on the title of the show and for each artist, to individually interpret their own theme and connotations around the title, ‘No Strange Land’.
Each artist is exploring different avenues surrounding the title. The artists are working within their preferred mediums and wrestling with themes encompassing distance, travel, languages, family and unity.
