Our good friends over at Artist Alliance have taken a bold step into the digital art space with the launch of their new Virtual Gallery. This online platform will showcase art from some of South Africa’s rising young creatives, offering viewers a chance to discover fresh talent, engage with upcoming artists, and purchase unique works.
The initiative is all about supporting the local art scene, with every purchase directly benefiting young artists and giving them a leg up to kick-start their careers.

About the Gallery
The Artist Alliance virtual gallery offers a fresh way to experience art, especially for those wanting to support local talent from the comfort of their own space. The gallery allows visitors to view up to 79 wall art pieces and 7 sculptures. Its design creates a maze-like feel, adding a sense of mystery and discovery as you explore each section.
The exhibition is divided into four key themes:
- “The Personal is Political”: Artworks that explore identity, gender, race, and personal experiences.
- “Challenging the Gaze”: Pieces that subvert traditional views, especially around the objectification of women
- “Women’s Work”: A celebration of women’s labour and creativity, touching on domesticity and caregiving.
- “Sisterhood and Solidarity”: Art that highlights community, friendship, and collective empowerment among women.
