Nike air max dn x lego

From Bricks to Kicks

Sneakerheads and LEGO lovers, this one’s for you. Nike and LEGO have teamed up for a brand-new playful collab.

The partnership kicks off this Winter in the US and Europe, but there’s no word yet on when it’ll land in SA. We’ll keep you posted as the story develops.

For this collab, think sneakers, clothing, accessories, and even LEGO sets made for sneaker culture.

First Drop? A Sneaker You Build.

Before we even get to the shoes, let’s talk about the LEGO Nike Dunk set. It drops July 1 and comes with 1,180 pieces. You can build your own brick version of the Nike Dunk shoe with a basketball-themed display and secret stash spots for rings, laces or whatever you want to hide. It also comes with a mini basketball figure named B’Ball Head.

Then Come the Real Kicks

On August 1, the first wave of Nike x LEGO sneakers lands. It’s the Air Max Dn in four bold colours: Tour Yellow, Black, Volt, and Rush Red. They’ve got LEGO-style laces, studded uppers, and a co-branded logo that fuses the Nike Swoosh with a LEGO brick. These kicks don’t snap bricks on like some past collabs, but they’ve got serious play vibes.

And the drop doesn’t stop there. On September 1, the Dunk Low x LEGO Collection drops, along with jackets, hats, socks, and backpacks. All playful, colourful, and loud in the best way.

More Than Just Hype

Nike brings the “Just Do It” energy, and LEGO brings the imagination. It’s for anyone who grew up building things and still wants to.

WNBA star A’ja Wilson is also part of the campaign. She grew up playing with LEGO and says it helped her in sport, school, and life. Now she’s helping spread that message to a new generation.

What’s Next?

Expect even more drops through the rest of the year. New sets, more shoes, and fresh apparel are all on the way. The two brands are also rolling out immersive experiences in cities around the world, along with digital content to keep the energy going.
