Boom Boom has its roots in Uganda, where Jokwiz was working on his debut single while Beenie Man was in Kampala for a series of shows. The Jamaican icon loved the track so much that he jumped on it, adding his signature catchy chorus and a verse. Enter UPZ, a South African house music producer with a flair for Amapiano and Afro Fusion beats, who gave the track a fresh twist by blending it with the infectious, groove-filled Amapiano sound.
