Oakley opens its first standalone store in Cape Town

On Friday, 5 September Oakley will open its first standalone AFA (Apparel, Fashion and Accessories) store in South Africa.

The new shop is in Canal Walk, Cape Town’s biggest mall, and brings the brand’s performance-driven clothing and gear to local shoppers.

Oakley is best known for eyewear, but its clothing and accessories are made with the same focus on innovation, durability and function. The new store offers South Africans a chance to shop the full collection in one space.

“Cape Town represents the perfect market for the first local AFA store. The city’s unique blend of urban sophistication and outdoor adventure culture aligns perfectly with our brand appeal,” says Sade Anter, Senior Brand Manager at EssilorLuxottica.

The store officially opens on Friday, 5 September. Oakley says the move shows its commitment to serving consumers who want both performance and style in their daily lives.

“We’re excited about this store opening as it demonstrates our commitment to offering high-quality, performance-driven products that connect with today’s active consumers,” – Sade Anter.

With its mix of street-inspired style and technical performance, Oakley’s AFA range is aimed at people who live a mobile, active lifestyle.
