Freedom of Movement is turning heads and setting trends in both local and international fashion, carving out a name for itself with bold moves across South Africa. Their latest creative play? Teaming up with the extraordinary Will Linley to ignite the creative scene. Under their CSI initiative wing, FOM Forward, you can enter their newest initiative, the #StepIntoYourCreativity Creative Challenge—a collaboration that’s all about unleashing raw talent and redefining what it means to create with purpose.
The initiative is all about inspiring others to STEP into their creativity and to give back to the creative industry. The open call celebrates creativity in all its forms and is a call out to all inspiring local talent to step into their creativity and showcase their unique vision. The #StepIntoYourCreativity Creative Challenge is set up to inspire and empower aspiring local creatives to express themselves through their different crafts and be recognised for their talent.
How to Enter
Freedom of Movement believes creativity is limitless. Calling all aspiring creatives—artists, designers, musicians, writers, dancers, filmmakers, and beyond—to join the #StepIntoYourCreativity Creative Challenge, by the following process:
- Submit your creative work (aligned with any creative discipline).
- Include a motivational statement explaining the inspiration behind your work.
- Submissions will be screened by FOM and Will Linley to select the Top 10 finalists.
The final Top 3 winners will be chosen by the FOM team, Will Linley and audiences through a voting process.
Top 3 Winning Prizes
The Top 3 winners stand a chance to win a share of R45 000 in cash & fashion vouchers, as well as a FOM Limited Edition sneakers to step into 2025.

The #StepIntoYourCreativity Creative Challenge is a vibrant salute to Mzansi’s creative spirit, aiming to shine a spotlight on homegrown talent across every corner of the artistic world. It’s a moment to show what “stepping into your creativity” means—whether it’s through a brushstroke, a melody, a poetic line, or a cinematic frame. Freedom of Movement is calling on creators to unleash their vision, share their craft, and join a movement that’s all about celebrating the magic of self-expression.
