Isikhathi is a personal quest for self-discovery that was motivated by Marshall McLuhan’s dictum that “the medium is the message.” In it, they discuss how people become nostalgic as a result of losing their identity. As a meditation on the influence of nostalgia, the brand revisits a sense of wonder and curiosity from infancy while challenging McLuhan’s theory.
This tale explores the ability to remember our younger selves through the use of clothing. At the same time, you may see your young self looking at you. Both join forces to discuss this reflection.
