Heartbreak Hotel gives a glimpse of what’s to come in her upcoming album, M$RYLUV$CMPNY, which will be released on March 7th, 2025.
The song, featuring Una Rams, dives into the ups and downs of heartbreak. With its ‘80s-inspired sounds, whisper rap and heavy synths underpinned by emotional lyrics, it explores the struggles of toxic relationships. Lines like “To tell the truth / I’m just a fool / I keep falling for your lies” capture the pain of love and betrayal.
The music video for Wake Up, which dropped on January 17th, 2025, brings a different energy. It was filmed in Braamfontein, Johannesburg, and directed by No.Ordinary.Human. The video is bold and vibrant, matching the upbeat feel of the song.
