From adidas’ Hyperboost Euphoria to BIRKENSTOCK x Repetto, here are the new footwear landing in South Africa right now.
Here at 10and5, brands like to keep us in the loop and share their new drops. We’ve put together a list of all the latest sneakers and shoes that have made it into our inbox.
Here are the latest drops that should be on your radar.
adidas Hyperboost Euphoria
This is the first lifestyle sneaker built around adidas’s Hyperboost foam, previously reserved for performance running.
It’s already been spotted on Messi, Bellingham, and Pedri off the pitch during the World Cup, and the local campaign leans into a “side quest” narrative featuring footballer Rayan Cherki and Sidemen streamer Tobjizzle.

Two builds are available: the EPHR, with a bold TPU net structure, and the lighter EPHR LT, with a semi-transparent mesh upper.
R3,299 (EPHR) / R2,999 (EPHR LT) | Available now at adidas.co.za and select retailers
Vans Old Skool 36 Pearlized
Vans keeps expanding its embellishment game with pearl and crystal detailing across a distressed upper, built to look like a shoe that’s already lived a little.
The Old Skool 36 was the first Vans model to carry the Sidestripe, and this drop follows the brand’s now sold-out Pearlized collaboration with Satoshi Nakamoto.

R2,999 (Classic Slip-On) / R3,999 (Old Skool 36) | The Classic Slip-On is available in Indigo and Camo/Black and The Old Skool 36 Pearlized is available in Black/Navy and Pearlized Bronze. Both landed on Vans.co.za and select Vans retail stores on 3 August.
BIRKENSTOCK 1774 x Repetto
Two heritage houses, France meets Germany, one collection.
BIRKENSTOCK’s anatomical footbed meets Repetto’s ballet-world elegance, with a Vichy-check footbed lining as the unifying signature.
Only two of the three styles are landing in South Africa: the Arizona, with oversized round buckles, and the Opéra, with laces that wrap the ankle like ribbon. The third style, the Scala, is exclusive to international markets and won’t be stocked locally.

R8,999 (Arizona) in Black, Flame Red and Icon Pink / R9,999 (Opéra) in Black and Icon Pink | Available now, exclusively at the V&A Waterfront store and birkenstocksa.co.za
New Balance 950
New Balance’s newest silhouette pulls from mid-80s basketball design and lands with real local weight.
Archive hosted the SA launch at Kleinsky’s in Johannesburg, pairing the shoe with a live conversation between cultural commentator Kabelo Moremi and Johannesburg Giants captain Arinze “Nino” Dim.
The 950 pitches itself as basketball heritage built for everyday wear, and it’s already stocked wide.

R2,499–R2,599 | Available now at newbalance.co.za, Studio 88, and New Balance’s 16 SA stores.
A$AP Rocky x PUMA Suede ’94
A$AP Rocky, three years into his role as PUMA’s Creative Director, dug into the archive for this one.
The ’94 Suede hasn’t been reissued since it originally dropped, and Rocky rebuilt it stitch for stitch, adding a gold lace keeper, a custom shoebox, and a full retro PUMA logo on the quarter panel that no other Suede iteration has carried.
“I remember when my mom bought me my first pair of suedes,” Rocky said. “Growing up in New York and seeing Walt Clyde Frazier with his style and his PUMA suedes, they were the shoes.”

R2,599 | Available now at PUMA.com, PUMA stores, and Shelflife
New Balance ABZORB 2010
New Balance’s Y2K-leaning ABZORB 2010 has been one of 2026’s most restocked silhouettes globally, with fresh colourways dropping through the year.
The ABZORB 2010 represents the most familiar visual, amongst the progressive designs of the ABZORB range, combining an exaggerated ABZORB sole unit with an upper inspired by popular 2000s era styles.
Four new colourways, Grey Matter / Fan Blue, Navy / Grey Matter, Sea Salt / Timberwolf, And Harbor Grey / Pebble, launched exclusively at JD Sports, in stores and online on 26 July. Note that this drop is JD Sports-exclusive and won’t be stocked at New Balance’s own SA retail channels.
R3,199 | Available at JD Sports stores and jdsports.co.za
On our international radar: Free The Youth x Air Jordan 16
Founded in 2013 by Jonathan Coffie, Kelly Foli, Winfred Mensah, and Richard Kweku Ormano, Ghanaian creative collective Free The Youth has built one of the most recognisable design languages coming out of West Africa.

This collaboration marks a rare moment of an African-led studio getting the Jordan Brand treatment, with a shoebox message that reads “We succeeded in giving the people hope.”
It was released first through freetheyouthxjordan.net on 1 August and will be followed by a wider release on Nike SNKRS on 15 August. We’re not yet sure if or when it’ll land in South Africa, but it’s one worth tracking.
