MIP Africa (September 2 – 4, 2024)

Imagine one-on-one meetings with content creatives, producers, buyers, and sellers. MIP Africa is all about matchmaking in the entertainment industry. This year, expect deep dives into what African TV and film audiences love, the impact of AI, masterclasses, and panels on African distribution, women directors, and more.

Muziki Afrika (September 2 – 4, 2024)

If you’re into music, Muziki Afrika is where you need to be. This three-day conference covers the music business, tech innovations, and brand collaborations. Highlights include panels on music and brands, online distribution, and a masterclass with Texx and the City.

African Fashion Forum (September 3 – 4, 2024)

Fashion lovers, this one’s for you. The African Fashion Forum connects the fashion industry with film, TV, and music. Look forward to trend reports, talks on sustainability, and fashion shows featuring top designers like MASA MARA and APHIA SAKYI.

Cape Town International Animation Festival (September 2 – 4, 2024)

Animation fans, pay attention, this festival showcases African animation on the global stage. There will be pitch competitions, screenings, animation challenges, and industry panels.

The festivities kick off on September 1, 2024, with Nollywood Night at the Rockefeller Hotel.
