Inside “Untimely Disclosure”, the Final Chapter Before Msaki and Jesse Clegg’s Entropy

Msaki and Jesse Clegg have released “Untimely Disclosure”, the final single ahead of their joint visual EP Entropy, due out on 27 February.

The track holds particular weight. It was the first song they wrote together, setting the tone for a collaboration that would stretch across cities, timelines, and emotional terrain. Quiet and reflective, “Untimely Disclosure” sits with the moment when a relationship begins to fracture, when one conversation shifts everything.

Rather than dramatise the break, the song lingers in the uncertainty. It explores intimacy, misalignment, and the internal reckoning that comes with loving someone while trying to stay true to yourself.

The single follows earlier Entropy releases, including “Wayside Lover” featuring Sjava and “How Dare You”, both of which gained strong traction across South African radio, TV, and streaming platforms. Each release has revealed another fragment of the project’s wider narrative.

Entropy was written across Cape Town, Johannesburg, Los Angeles, and New York, reflecting a long-form creative exchange between the two artists. The EP is produced by Greg Abrahams and Nicholas Petricca, with Grammy Award-winning engineer Damian Taylor handling mixing and mastering.

Alongside the music, Msaki and Jesse Clegg have been releasing a series of interconnected visuals. These chapters form a visual EP that expands the emotional arc of the project. The full visual work will be released as a surprise accompaniment to Entropy later this month.

“Untimely Disclosure” is now streaming on all major platforms.
