From Court to Culture: KayKay Ribane Debuts The Perfect Serve

Creative Director and multidisciplinary artist KayKay Ribane has launched his inaugural photography book.

The project named “The Perfect Serve” is a fusion of tennis, fashion, and art, while showcasing the brand’s Wimbledon limited-edition white can. The book was launched on 24 July 2026 at the Killarney Country Club during a highly exclusive lunch attended by an A-list audience, set outdoors on the club’s tennis courts.

The photography book is a visual story highlighting African opulence against the backdrop of tennis tradition. When asked about the work, KayKay had this to say:

“For me, this project was about finding the conversation between two worlds that have always shared the same values,precision, discipline, elegance, and legacy. Wimbledon represents one of the greatest traditions in sport, while African Opulence celebrates the richness of our culture, craftsmanship, and identity. “

“Through this book, I wanted to show that luxury isn’t just something we inherit; it’s something we create.  Every image is an invitation to see tennis through a new lens, where heritage meets contemporary African expression, and storytelling becomes the perfect serve.”

KayKay has increasingly drawn attention, particularly on social media, for his creative expressions over the past few months, aimed at exploring what it means to embody premium culture in Africa. His work, both as an individual and alongside his family collective, “Dear Ribane,” is poised to set the tone for taste and culture for the remainder of the year.

The Perfect Serve bookmarks only the beginning of KayKay’s journey in telling the story of tennis through the lens of an African creative, while highlighting the significant role many Black athletes have played in the growth of the sport globally.
